I applaud all who are involved in this effort. If we do not act now we will regret it soon. The focus is currently on the parts of Cobb that have 100 plus acre tracts which seems to preclude East Cobb. I urge all involved to keep an eye on the 40 acre tract that is on Terrell Mill just east of Delk Road which is likely to be available in the near future.
It is safe to bet certain interests in east Cobb are being given paramount consideration as this effort moves forward. In fact, there's probably more specifically targeted land in east Cobb than in the rest of the county. Of course, the price of an acre of land in east Cobb will probably be triple that anywhere else in the county. Time will tell.
